Tacoma Washington Bicycle Club
The Tour de Pierce Classic is a community bicycle ride.
This 28th edition is being put on by the Tacoma Washington Bicycle Club.
Over the years this Pierce County Parks and Recreation Tour de Pierce ride has been an extremely fun ride for family’s and beginner riders to experience the joy and freedom in road bicycle rides. This year we will explore newly opened bicycle trails and routes in Pierce County.
Riders will enjoy three well-marked courses, support vehicles, fully stocked rest stops.
For your 12-mile, 25 mile, or 55-mile rides.
Put the 24th of June on your calendar. Ride Starting at the Gold lot at the Washington State Fair Grounds.
Registration starts a 0700 and the course opens then.
The 12-mile beginner ride is long enough to not challenge young riders
The 25-mile ride lets stronger riders explore more new trails that have been constructed the last two years.
The 55-mile ride lets stronger riders be challenged and yet enjoy a beautiful ride over rivers, streams and waterfalls.
You can pre-register on line or on the day of the ride. Gold lot at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup
The course will be marked with ‘Dan Henry’ symbols using chalk paint. Helmets are required due to insurance requirements.
Cost: $20 per person.
$35 for a family.

Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before. Along with your bike, bring an approved helmet, ID, water, first aid kit, tire repair equipment, other essentials, and a friendly attitude. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road.
Rest stops supplied with food, drink and Sani-cans. Sag wagons will be near the route for mechanically stranded riders. Course closes at 5pm. Final sweep by sag wagons begins at 4pm.
Rider registration fees for TWBC events help to support , bicycling safety and education programs, and local bicycle improvements. Surplus food is donated to a local food bank.
